Ottawa, Ontario — Harold Albrecht, MP for Kitchener-Conestoga today with MPs Joe Comartin, Michelle Simpson, Frank Valeriote, and Kelly Block today announced the formation of a new, non-partisan Parliamentary group that will address glaring deficiencies in Canada’s palliative and compassionate care framework.
Each of the founding members has committed to conduct the group’s work in a spirit of cooperation and purpose to broaden the Committee’s profile.

New Hamburg, Ontario — Harold Albrecht, MP for Kitchener-Conestoga, today announced that EuroCan Pet Products of New Hamburg will receive a repayable contribution of more than $1.8 million through the Community Adjustment Fund. This investment will help modernize EuroCan’s manufacturing facility, increase its capacity, and develop new products. As a result of this investment, EuroCan will increase its workforce from 29 to 55 within two years.
